Working closely with the principal architect, job captain, engineers, and other consultants to coordinate and integrate design efforts. AIA Pasadena and Foothill Birdhouse Competition, 1st Place
The birdhouse that my team and I submitted received the first-place award in the category of student design. Additionally, our team was given the designers' choice award, recognizing our commitment to utilizing natural and recycled materials. This intentional decision in my team aligns with our dedication to creating an environmentally friendly project.
ASEA Truss Bridge Competition, 2nd Place
The designed bridge would obtain second place due to its captivating fragile-like appearance. Despite the potentially deceiving aesthetics, the bridge demonstrated exceptional strength, with a weight-bearing capacity several times higher than its own.
