I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, TX in
2011, and graduated in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas.
From an early age, I have actively explored the visualization of ideas. I use multiple media in
my own work but also actively collect. In the design studio, I am a natural leader, directing people
and their tasks with a holistic view of the project at hand. I am particularly knowledgable about development (from real estate to the realization of design) in Dallas, and I keep tabs on many other cities
as well. I am heavily involved in the local design community and actively search for ways to promote
local design activities and movements.
In 2014, I spent the summer working for Fayetteville artist and designer David Murphree. Here,
I did design, production and post production work on a yet to be released, highly effi cient locomotive.
In the summer of 2015, I served as an architectural intern in Healthcare department at HKS inc. in Dallas.
This vastly different scale and type of project demanded quick learning and intensive team work. I
believe these diverse experiences have prepared me for an exciting and creative architectural career in New York City.
