About

I am a recent graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor's of Science in Interior Design. I landed a 6 month paid internship with EwingCole, a fully integrated Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering and Planning firm during my schooling at Drexel University. This real world experience, along with my continuing education has helped me to realize my love for design, and more specifically, my love for hospitality and commercial design.

I plan to sit for the first portion of the NCIDQ, and obtain a full-time position at an architectural design firm. I would like to gain the two years experience needed, under a licensed professional, to sit for the remaining portions of the NCIDQ in order to become a licensed interior designer myself.

I have high hopes for my future and aim to meet my ultimate goal of owning my own firm, working in hospitality design.

2013

Mary Epstein | Lounge Design Competition Participant, Honorable Mention

"A group of Mary Epstein's former students, led by Floss Barber, Ellen Hamilton, and Kristen Norris, chose to honor Mary's extraordinary influence and legacy by dedicating a space to her in Westphal's new URBN Center building. Thanks to a leed gift, an Interior Design lounge have been named in Mary's honor. The plans were to mirror Mary's timeless elegance and style, with the lounge and classroom to be designed by current Westphal students, giving them an opportunity to combine a school project with a wonderful philanthropic initiative. Five groups of students developed designs and Mary herself chose the winning design."
