This 21,000 SF renovation of the existing campus bookstore involved the integration of two campus wellness services - the Student Health Center (SHC) and Psychological Services Center (PSC) into one campus building. The project was a gut renovation involving new floor layouts and an ambulance addition to the back of the existing building as well as a basement fit-out for campus EMS. I led the project from design development through completion, and indendently managed construction administration on this complex renovation project. The completed building is an exciting asset to the campus and is successfully servicing students, employees and campus health providers.
The project addressed the needs of many users and involved the coordination of several University deparments and project goals along with a tight budget. An exterior trellis will be installed at a later phase.
