Laka Architektura, communication and outreach officer
The Laka Foundation is a non-profit architectural organization holding the annual Laka Competition and the Laka Accelerator project serving in order to bring to life the best designs for world change.
My duties:
- outreach and communications within the Laka Accelerator project, consulting, Laka Perspectives program coordination,
- translations, proof-reading and editing of English architectural texts, interviews with experts.
BUILDER magazine, Warszawa, PL, architectural editor and editorial office representative
- continuous editorial co-operation with BUILDER magazine (publications on architecture and construction design, translations from English into Polish, see page 3),
- magazine representation at international press conferences, trade fairs and meetings, eg. in New York, Nettuno, Brussels, Savannah, Stavanger, Tronheim, Mo I Rana, Aalesund, Oslo, Stuttgart.
Volko Engineering, Riga, LV, architectural assistant
- Revit and AutoCAD drafting of single-family houses in the agglomeration of Riga, as well as taking measurements on site, preparing documentation in order to receive a planning permission etc.,
- preparing an entry for an international interior design competition of a large-scale office building,
- point cloud modeling of recently built twin towers in Riga (Z-towers), using Revit and Recap software,
- concept development, research, visualizations, retouching, preparing promotion materials (brochure),
- international relations, promotion ideas.
