As a student, I got to experiment with a variety of mediums through which I could develop my
abilities to design and further understand the design process. Wentworth is still a very
traditional architecture school in which things like hand drawings and sketching are looked upon as an essential part of being an architect. Upon graduating, I began as a Revit intern at Good Harbor Techmark, LLC. At Good Harbor I learned how to apply the skills that I had learned in school in a professional environment. I ascended to a Security System Designer and began to understand the greater connection between applying security to a building and it’s design. As the design of projects that I managed evolved, so did the design and layout of our security. This helped me to develop my relationship with clients and other disciplines so that the design and the process was efficient on our behalf.
