The Lagoon story that was never there

The story of the lagoon that wasn’t there is an identity proposal for a Lio Piccolo that could have existed and disappeared leaving mysterious artefacts behind. Mimicking the process of a temporary installation while considering the fragile ecosystem and existing landscape, the project was fully developed in drawings to be willingly deconstructed as an acknowledgement of our own peculiar path to finding lightness by adding weight to only then grasp the conscious ability to remove it.
What remains is the stamp of the Venetian dead city, forever engraved yet barely noticeable in the depth of the water, emerging around key zones to unveil what once could have been there, all linked by a ring and an inside discreet path, using compressed soil, trees, rocks, electric poles to express the soul of Lio piccolo, invite the visitor to explore, yet letting the water and the seasons decide when. A place for dérive, for memory, a place for Lio piccolo to become its own.
