I began my academic journey with a two-year course in Industrial Systems and Engineering, which provided me with a solid foundation in technical principles and problem-solving skills. This experience honed my analytical abilities and gave me a unique perspective on systems and processes.
After these two years, I realized my true passion lay in the creative and impactful field of architecture. Consequently, I transferred to the Faculty of Fine Arts, where I pursued a degree in Architecture. This shift allowed me to blend my technical background with my burgeoning interest in design and aesthetics.
While studying architecture, I worked in an architectural office for two years. This practical experience was invaluable, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings and gain firsthand insight into the architectural profession. It also helped me develop professional skills and a deeper understanding of project workflows and client interactions.
Following my undergraduate studies, I sought to deepen my expertise and enrolled in a master’s program in "Advanced Architectural Design" at İzmir University of Economics. This program was distinct in its focus, prioritizing design innovation and creative expression over purely technical aspects. The curriculum was designed to nurture the development of starchitects—visionary architects known for their signature styles and groundbreaking projects.
Throughout my studies at İzmir University of Economics, I engaged in various design-oriented projects that challenged conventional architectural norms and encouraged inventive thinking.
