I have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP), Brazil. Currently I am a student at the Master’s Degree program in Architecture and Urbanism (MDU) at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil.
The research I have been developing for the past 1.5 years focuses on the work of the New York City based architects Todd Williams Billie Tsien, specifically the sensory aspects of their projects.
My professional experience includes both architecture and urban design, with a focus on residential, hospitals, and public spaces. Academically, I have taught design and theory courses as a Teacher's Assistant (TA) at the architecture undergraduate programs at both UNICAP and UFPE, in Brazil.
As an architect I am interested in the sensory aspects of the discipline, an architecture that respects the environment and the nature of building materials. A sensible approach towards contemporary art and culture also play a decisive role in my practice and academic research.
