I believe the commitment to the environment is a pressing issue for architecture and takes collaboration from different fields of work. In undergrad, I studied the field of energy and worked in the energy industry as a system engineer. I continued the study of energy through architecture in grad school as a director of the Passive House organization and completed my thesis of Missing Middle Housing focused on Passive Haus. I gained a well-rounded architectural experience, focusing on an Assisted and Memory Care facility. I was able to present diagrams and design options to clients and make changes based on their feedback.
