With a career that specializes in healthcare, education and commercial design, Joshua Thomasson has begun to build a wealth of experience in both public and private projects throughout North Carolina. With this local experience, his focus has honed in on the development of site and building materiality. He uses a wide range of media to explore and develop architectural elements in projects ranging from watercolor to Revit modeling and rendering. Joshua is experienced in challenging programs and creates usable civic space to offer something to the community as well as the occupants. Joshua’s strong attention to detail has made him a valuable BIM Technician.
Joshua has been fortunate enough to travel the world and learn first hand the impact architecture can have on a place, its people and culture.
Outside of the office, he continues to be involved with community outreach programs using his talents as an designer and photographer. He serves on the AIA Triangle Board of Directors and is the task force leader at AIA’s Triangle Barkitecture.
