After completing my Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Western Australia in 2009, I traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, gaining valuable experience, cultural understanding, and appreciation of the landscape built environment. After developing a sound interest in construction techniques and with inspiration from further overseas travel to the United States, I returned to the University of Western Australia to complete a Bachelor of Design and Masters in Architecture and become a complete and competent designer in both the landscape and architecture disciplines.
Current employment is at the National Trust of Western Australia which has given me the opportunity to project manage both architectural, landscape and cultural heritage projects. The experience has been well rounded and diverse with a strong emphasis on the activation and sustainable conservation of landscape, architecture and surrounding curtilage and spaces between. Projects include working on some of Australia’s most significant buildings and landscapes, as well as external projects such as conservation reports, strategic vision(s)and applied policies & procedures. Through exposure to a variety of assorted projects and disciplines, it has permitted me to solve arising issues from design through to construction effectively.
With a desire to showcase a collective group of skills in graphic design, marketing & media strategies and landscape and architectural design, Perspective Studios was developed in collaboration with two peers in 2016. This provided a creative platform for all-encompassing collaborative resolutions.
I am a well-rounded individual passionate about landscape, architecture and all aspects of design within associated disciplines. My involvement with high-level water polo institutes, including national competition, has resulted in me becoming a physically active individual, respectful of individual personalities and proficient in a team environment.
