I spent Summer 2017 at the Harvard GSD in the Career Discovery Program, studying the fundamentals of architecture, model making, and hand drafting. The final project was to design a community/wellness center in Dorchester, MA. After meeting with students from the Urban Planning discipline, I further assessed the needs of the community for this center, and incorporated them into my final design. My main goal was to create a center that provoked feelings of openness and togetherness.
