Jordan Micham is a recent graduate from the Southern California Institute of Architecture obtaining his master’s degree (M.Arch II ‘22). He previously received his bachelor’s degree (B.Arch ‘20) from the University of Cincinnati. During his time at Cincinnati he took part in three different co-operative internship experiences each lasting one semester: Choeff Levy Fischman (Miami, FL), GBBN (Cincinnati, OH), and Hennebery Eddy (Portland, OR). After his third year, he traveled to Siyang, China for a design-build competition in which his team, paired with a team from Beijing (BJTU), placed top 10. He also received the Organizer’s Choice Award for his design submission for the Breaking Work Competition in 2019. Additionally, during his time at Sci-Arc, he took part in two internships: PATTERNS (Los Angeles, CA) and Oyler Wu Collaborative (Los Angeles, CA), along with winning the Merit Graduate Thesis Award. He sees himself in the future working across multi-disciplinary fields in mixed-media in pursuit of an unconventional design practice.
