Jordan Lane is a passionate Architectural Technologist living in Copenhagen, Denmark and completing his studies at KEA: Copenhagen School of Design and Technology. In 2014 he graduated from George Brown College, Toronto where he focused on architectural design and became proficient using BIM software such as Revit. Sustainability has always been at the forefront of his interests which led to a job as a LEED for homes consultant working with the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC). During his time as a sustainable building consultant, Jordan helped over 90 homes reach their LEED certification goals. Some of the primary reasons Jordan moved to Denmark are the high standards for sustainability and the innovations in architectural design being welcomed in the country.
Before he left Canada, Jordan was working as an architectural designer focusing on modern residential homes with a very talented Design/Build firm. Duties included client meetings in which their needs and desires were turned into conceptual design drawings. Jordan has honed his skills using 3D design software and Photoshop to create impressive presentation drawings for client approval. Construction drawings, detailing and technical specifications are also a keen interest of Jordan's and he is constantly working on developing his drawing skills in these areas.
In addition to residential design, he has worked on Commercial, Institutional and Renovation designs. Urban design projects, such as Jan Gehl's work in Copenhagen, COBE Architects master plan for Paper Island and the community of Ørestad are of a special interest. Jordan's goal is to work on projects of this scope and offer his skills to talented design teams.
