Jones Studio, in collaboration with Moore Rubel Yudell Architects, designed the new ASU Thunderbird School of Global Management. This 5-story learning laboratory—tracking LEED Platinum—provides a range of classroom styles and sizes with a focus on future adaptability and active learning. A flexible ground floor multi-purpose “rotunda” event space is the focal heart of the building—opening to the plaza via operable glass walls to embrace the great Arizona climate. Faculty and staff offices, a cafe with a commercial kitchen, a rooftop pub and community engagement spaces round out a program interlocked together by informal meeting spaces and learning opportunities throughout the building.
