I am an artisan, and I create custom metalwork. Much of my work is architectural, but I am very versatile and can do whatever it is that a client dreams of and commissions. I really enjoy the collaboration with clients, and am most satisfied with my work when it thrills them.
In my spare time (ha!) I enjoy family life with my wife Catherine and our two young children. We are living in our home as we build it, grow a good bit of the food we eat, take road trips in our '78 Airstream, and dream of sailing up and down both U.S. coasts in our wooden sailboat...once she's seaworthy, that is.
Sonata Award, Award
"Our Louisiana" magazine holds a competition each year. They take submissions in many different design categories. Last year I built a custom stainless steel handrail for a homeowner in Madisonville, LA. She encouraged me to submit the work in the competition, and it won in the Architectural Elements category.
