I am highly enthusiastic about interior design and the retail industry and for nearly five years I was the showroom planner and buyer at a large retail location. Through this role, I understand the importance of space planning, merchandising and branding.
Since 2006 I also acted as a senior design consultant for the showroom offering our clientele in-home consultations and superior sales attention. I was the top salesperson in the Cambridge store for 5 consecutive years, with high rate of return customers and word-of-mouth referrals.
During the past year I was also the store manager. During this period, much of my focus was on sales management, advertising, budget management and personnel management.
In addition, I deliver work with commitment and passion and I enjoy working collaboratively with a team as well as independently.
My professional goals involve contributing to the success and efficiency of a fast-paced and exciting design-oriented business, taking advantage of my excellent design, leadership, customer service and administrative skills. I am seeking an opportunity in the design industry that connects with spaces that affect many people.
