Joel Kerner is a registered architect based in Chicago and Los Angeles. He holds a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and a Bachelor of Arts from Judson University. His work navigates the polemical and the pragmatic while engaging in broader design discourse through teaching, exhibitions, talks, and publications. His work has been exhibited in the US, France, Norway, and Estonia, and has appeared in Engawa (Barcelona), NAAM (Tehran), CoMachines (Berlin), PLAT Journal, POSIT, and Lunch Journal, among others.
