Houser Walker Architecture is seeking to add an experienced Project Manager to our studio, someone who will work directly and collaboratively to successfully lead complex projects and teams.
This position will involve leading a multi-year, historic preservation effort for one of the few UNESCO World Heritage building related sites in the US. Experience leading National Park Service projects or similarly important preservation efforts is highly desirable.
This is a salaried, exempt position. Salaries are commensurate with experience and ability to create value for the studio. If using the AIA Compensation categories, this position would align with a Project Manager.

A strong portfolio leading accomplished work, including built projects that demonstrate a high level of design excellence.
Approximately 15+ years of quality experiences, preferably with a background working with institutional clients. Experience as a Project Manager for civic or governmental projects over $20M should be noted.
A demonstrated history of project leadership, including leading large multidisciplinary consultant teams through complex projects. You will be responsible for keeping the whole team driving forward throughout the process.
Excellence in communication abilities, both with clients and internal teams. This includes design concepts, graphics, written, and verbal communications.
Proficiency in using Revit to assist in developing and editing working drawing sets is highly desirable.
This position will require using project management tools to help schedule ongoing staffing, budgeting, and profitability for projects. If you have experience with CMAP, please note that in your application.
