COOKFOX Architects is in search of a creative, curious, confident, and collaborative individual to join our Strategy & Communications team.

COOKFOX is a New York City architectural and interior design studio dedicated to integrated, environmentally responsive design. Our mission and our deep sense of responsibility to design restorative and regenerative environments that foster the well-being of the planet and people is intrinsically tied to our commitments to social justice.  We advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion within our studio, projects, and communities.

You will collaborate closely with the Director of Strategy & Communications to amplify our voice both internally and externally. Among your core responsibilities will be writing and editing marketing content such as project narratives, awards submissions, website content; development and design of social and other media content; coordination of project documentation; support and participation of studio programming and special events.

What We're Seeking:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in fields like architecture, arts, or communications.
• An innate passion for Architecture, Design, Sustainability, and Social Equity.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Excellent graphic design and graphics software skills (particularly InDesign).
• Demonstrated creative social media skills.
• Ability to manage communications projects, with a meticulous eye for details.
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work independently when needed.

You will be joining a team that’s deeply rooted in design ethics and social justice. COOKFOX Architects is building a diverse and inclusive workspace, where every voice is heard, and every perspective is valued. This position has a flexible in-studio work schedule and requires occasional in-person support of in-studio events, and participation in NYC-based evening events and programs.

Salary range is $70,000-$80,000 annually. Consideration based on experience and skill level.
