Architectural Designer 

BKSK Architects is a New York City-based firm specializing in socially engaging, contextually appropriate, and ecologically conscious design. The firm’s diverse range of work includes award-winning cultural, civic, educational, and multi-family residential projects.

We are looking for an Architectural Designer with up to 3 years of experience with a passion for high quality design, a strong interest in technical problem-solving and a positive, collaborative work style.  This position involves design, documentation, and production across all project phases and in multiple typologies..

Ideal Candidates will have the following qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• Proficiency in Revit, V-Ray/ Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite (other design-related programs are a plus)
• Experience and interest in sustainable design and building performance
• Strong graphic and presentation skills
• Ability to work on multiple project typologies
• Motivated self-starter and works well in a collaborative environment; and,
• Ability to communicate comfortably, clearly, and confidently with team members, consultants, and clients – verbally and in written communications

This is a full-time position with benefits, including health insurance, company-match 401K, and benefits for professional development.  We also offer a mentoring program as well as support in pursuit of architectural licensure. The expected salary range is $65,000-$75,000, depending upon capabilities and relevant experience.  The need is immediate.  This is a full-time in-person position.
