Abelow Sherman Architects is a design-focused architecture firm based in New York City.  We are involved in a range of work, mostly single-family residential, and including new buildings.  We are looking for an individual with exceptional design skills, strong 3D skills, and experience in high-end residential design.  A minimum of five years professional experience is required.   Candidate must be interested and experienced in the production of the highest quality drawings.  The firm and the candidate share a commitment to design excellence and client satisfaction.

Current Working Environment at ASA:
ASA is located in the New York City metropolitan area.  We closely follow government and public health guidelines for COVID-19, including working from home.  We are utilizing online systems and tools to help emulate the open, collaborative studio conditions that we all enjoy.

The candidate should have the ability to maintain technology required for remote work.  Site visits in the City or surrounding areas may be required.

Qualifications:

• Collaborative sensibility, for design team and client interaction
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments concurrently
• Vectorworks expertise preferred
• Experience using 3-D modeling software
• Work examples that demonstrate strong design sensibility.
• Excellent English language communication skills
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
