Echo Projects is seeking a full-time project manager to work on all phases of our architectural projects, from design through construction. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, project management capabilities, an attention to detail and a passion for thoughtful design.
Echo Projects is a design/build firm based in Los Angeles, specializing in architecturally rigorous residential construction. As builders and designers, our process of integrated project delivery is informed by extensive experience in both architectural design and custom homebuilding. We leverage the skills and tools from both disciplines to execute projects characterized by careful, legible refinement. Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: develop design schemes, prepare drawings, 3D models, renderings and other graphic visualizations for client presentations
Guide projects through permitting process
Coordinate with engineers and consultants
Produce Construction Drawings
Oversee Construction Administration - conduct site visits and communicate with job site supervisors
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in architectural design
Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture
Strong software skills - proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD or Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, rendering software
Strong drawing, graphic communication and presentation skills
Experience with LADBS permitting process preferred
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage projects and produce precise work with a team
