Intermediate Interior Designer

We are hiring an intermediate level interior designer to join our growing practice in Harding, NJ.

The ideal candidate will have a good grounding in commercial interior design, with demonstrated capability in successfully contributing to complex projects, and an interest in growing their career by taking on increasing responsibility commensurate with results.

Qualifications of Position

· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.

· 3+ years of professional experience.

· Good working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit; experience using these in a production setting.

· Proficient at rendering software Enscape and Lumion.

· Experience in Construction Document preparation.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.

· Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes.

· Understanding of design principles, materials, millwork, and construction assemblies.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to communicate the intent of a design graphically and verbally and prepare presentations of design ideas and concepts for clients.

· Experience with ordering, choosing and designing finish schemes.
