MID-SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER: Venice Beach, CA Studio
Act as project designer under Principal and/or Senior Designer's creative direction. Duties include: overseeing Project Design and team members, coordinating with Project consultants, creating, updating and maintaining project budget(s), FF&E spec books, and overseeing & coordinating the Interior's project drawing set(s) and sketches, as well as overseeing construction administration during the build-out process.
- Develop & Manage Project Design(s) & Project Management with design planning, concepts & presentations under direction of Senior Designer and Design Partners
- Help Manage budgeting, ordering, expediting, and scheduling for commercial interior design projects
- Help Create and track purchase orders as needed
- Co-Manage Project Design team deliverables with project presentations (computer and hand rendered) under direction of Senior Designer & Design Directors
- Act as Studio’s liaison with vendors and contractors, including visits to project sites and vendor workrooms to check progress of fabrication and construction
- Communicate clearly and frequently with project team, clients, consultants, vendors and contractors
- Attend project meetings and site visits either alone or with Principal(s)
- Coordinate and assist with on-site project installations
- Manage or liaison with other office personnel, including project design team members, runners and interns
- 3-D Sketch-Up / Rendering capabilities and Spanish speaking / communicating a PLUS +

We primarily focus on hospitality projects (Hotels, Resorts, Restaurants & Bars) and also do some high-end residential design. Currently we are looking for passionate, hard-working designers who have the ability to wear several hats, work collaboratively with other designers and consultants, and most importantly, can lead their own design projects with a sense of ownership, integrity and responsibility...
