Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect/Manager highly skilled in Revit to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and supporting architectural projects from concept design to completion. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, design teams, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery while utilizing your expertise in Revit to produce high-quality design and construction documents.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage residential construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Oversee the development and execution of architectural plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. 

Design Expertise:

  • Bring creative and innovative design solutions to residential projects.
  • Utilize proficiency in Revit to develop detailed and accurate architectural drawings.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing final product.
  • Experience using visualization software such as Lumion for creating realistic and compelling visual representations of architectural designs.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Demonstrate expertise in Revit software for 3D modeling and drafting.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, codes, and regulations related to residential construction.
  • Review and evaluate project designs for compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Client Interaction:

  • Engage with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and expectations.
  • Present design concepts and modifications effectively to clients, incorporating their feedback into the design process.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, ensuring transparency and alignment with their expectations.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including architects, engineers, designers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture is desired. 

  • 8-10+ years of progressive Architectural experience.

  • Proven experience and proficiency in Revit is a must have for this role. 

  • Experience working in residential construction is preferred, but not required.

  • Proficiency in Lumion, AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar design software preferred.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.

  • Thorough understanding of local building codes and regulations in Los Angeles, CA.

  • California Architectural license preferred, but not required

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US. 

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary in the range of $100,000 - $120,000 per year. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.

In-Office Requirements: 

This position will work onsite full time in the La Canada Flintridge, CA area with frequent local travel to job sites across the Los Angeles metro area on a daily basis. There is no remote or hybrid option and no relocation is offered for this position.
