Project Architect/Designer
Mork Ulnes Architects is an international firm with offices in San Francisco, CA, and Oslo, Norway. We approach projects with both Scandinavian practicality and a California can-do spirit of innovation.
We are seeking a full-time and highly-motivated Architect / Designer to join our San Francisco office. The candidate will be involved in design, research, driving client and consultant interactions, design presentations, project management, construction observation, marketing / business development.
Qualifications
- An accredited professional architecture degree: B.Arch or M.Arch.
- 5-10 years of experience in an architecture firm
- California Licensure or enrollment with NCARB, or active pursuit of licensure
- Motivation to continually strive for design excellence
- Passion for detail and craft
- Great collaborator but also independent and self-starting
- Excellent communication skills
- Good project management skills
- Strong organization skills
- Positive attitude
- Experience working on all phases of an architectural project
- Comprehensive understanding of building codes and entitlements process
- Strength in graphic/visual representation
- Strong design, 3D modeling, and presentation skills. Archicad, Vectorworks and Rhino helpful but not required
- Willingness to take on new challenges and learn
