Seeking an Architectural professional with 8+ years experience. The position is full time and in person in our Philadelphia office. Architect will collaborate with the studio team to create spaces that are boldly creative, detail oriented, thoughtful and reflective of the Aeternum Design Studio brand. We are a growing firm working on projects in hospitality, multi-family with a heavy focus on hospitality amenities and high end residential with projects expanding on a national level. We are looking to add a designer who is a team player with a positive, open-minded attitude and is a ROCKSTAR in the following areas at minimum:

  • Has 8+ years of professional commercial Interior Architectural experience and with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (required)

  • Has strong knowledge of design trends, construction process/practices, material application, building code regulations, life safety codes and ADA requirements.

  • Able to lead 3D modeling, drafting and Construction Documentation efforts for projects in Revit

  • Has excellent skills in detailing & technical coordination with other trades (architecture, MEP & fabricators)

  • Able to lead and collaborate with the team to develop the design into complete design development drawings and then further the project into Construction Documents.

  • Able to lead and manage Construction Administration & oversight during the construction/fabrication and installation phases of the project inclusive of: regular site observation review walks, submittal review, site measuring, shop drawing review, review & respond to RFI's and regular coordination with our Studio Director in managing fabricators & contractors.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator)

  • Has strong knowledge of commercial & hospitality design trade resources, residential resource knowledge is a plus

  • Has experience and confidence in their ability in all design phases - conceptual through construction administration

  • Places high importance on attention to detail

  • Is an excellent communicator and can confidently communicate ideas and designs clearly.

  • Is comfortable and confident communicating with clients and attending client meetings

  • Is highly motivated, self-directed and an independent worker with a strong work ethic and a sense of accountability!

  • Is a strong multi-tasker and can complete projects independently and manage time in order to meet project deadlines.

  • Is interested in mentoring and sharing knowledge with team members

Salary is $75,000-95,000 and includes healthcare benefits and retirement contribution.
