Project Manager Position – 6 to 10 years of professional experience

Living Habitats – Chicago, IL

Living Habitats is currently seeking a project manager to join our office in Chicago.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and design capabilities and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative fast-paced environment. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 6 years of professional landscape architecture experience and a professional degree in landscape architecture. Previous experience should include: leading project teams through design, coordination, and documentation;  planning and managing project budgets, coordinating with regulatory agencies, QA/QC review, in-field construction observation and management of client and team relationships. 

Successful candidates are expected to have high technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite workflows. Experience in GIS and 3D modeling/BIM programs such as SketchUp, Rhino and Revit is preferred. Familiarity with billing and project management software/workflows, knowledge of native plant communities, and experience with ecological restoration are also valuable. Licensure in landscape architecture is strongly encouraged, but not required.

This position is an in-person career opportunity and candidates will be expected to reside in the Chicagoland area. Our office supports a hybrid work model to allow reasonable flexibility for individual and family responsibilities. Fluency in English is required.
