Job Title: Project Operations Assistant

Position Status: Full-Time

Classification:   Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $52,000-$73,500

JOB SUMMARY

This role requires a friendly self-starter that brings strong levels of high-end customer service, attention to detail, and experience coordinating a variety of tasks with moving parts. This person will help craft creative  solutions to sometimes unorthodox challenges, working closely with the Project Operations Manager to execute on a variety of projects both small and large. This role is suited for a person able to exhibit patience, strong judgment, flexibility, discretion, and a delicate touch. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.

Primary Duties + Responsibilities

• Serve as a back-up point person for client communications and requests 
• Work with project operations and design teams, as well as external contractors and vendors to implement project work
• Coordinate and oversee work of tradespeople/subcontractors
• Troubleshoot and resolve emergencies with support from our Project Operations Manager - sometimes on nights and weekends
• Help maintain a trusted network of highly qualified, detail oriented tradespeople/subcontractors
• Assist in coordination client relocation services including, but not limited to, furniture resale, scheduling and overseeing movers, as well as home set-sup prior to move in
• Collect, organize, and maintain project home dossier
• Track and maintain quarterly and annual project maintenance schedules
• Coordination with vendors for quotes, purchasing, tracking, delivery, and set up
• Receipt and inspection of deliveries, with coordination of returns as needed
• Support design team as necessary with acquiring samples, and other administrative or logistical tasks
• Thoroughly learn Studio Designer processes and support design team with purchasing for projects
• Communication and coordination with tradespeople, subcontractors, and vendors

Knowledge | Skills | Abilities - Required

• 1-3 years related job experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Basic handy skills lake changing a light bulb and assembling furniture
• Capable of learning new skills quickly, prioritizing tasks, and problem solving when needed
• Proficient in G Suite, Adobe Suite, MAC based computer systems; Studio Designer and AutoCAD are a plus
• Experience with high-end residential customer service
• Driver’s license and personal transportation to manage tasks as needed
• Local to Bay Area required and San Francisco preferred
