Magdalena Keck Inc. is looking for a Design Architect with min 5 years of experience to join our team working on a large residential project in Hawaii consisting of the existing main residence and several new accessory buildings including a guest house and a wellness pavilion.
High-end residential experience in the design of from-ground-up buildings is required. Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating the requirements are met.
The successful candidate will primarily work in our NYC studio under the Design Lead and will be responsible for all phases of the project from concept/schematic design through construction documents and administration. They will liaison with the Architect of Record and various other consultants in Hawaii.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture from an accredited university
Experience: 5 years min of relevant experience
Area of expertise: from-ground-up, high-end single-family residential architecture, resort experience a plus, including interior architecture and design
Style: Contemporary, minimal with a focus on the sense of place and sustainability, and an eye toward art and collectible design
Software: AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Revit, Adobe Suite
Other: Must have Driver's License and be willing to travel, must be authorized to work in the US
