Lisa Koch Design is a residential and hospitality interior design firm in Los Angeles. We are seeking a designer who has high-end residential experience to be a part of our growing team. An interest in lifestyle hospitality is a plus.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
working with our design team at project sites
collaborating with our design team to establish project concepts
producing conceptual and schematic design drawings with supporting 3D sketches
managing and implementing the preparation of client presentations
writing budgets, schedules, and proposals for projects using Studio Designer
managing vendors and coordinating with all trades
helping in the selection of furniture, lighting, fabrics and materials
attending site and client meetings on a weekly basis
Please note-this job is in the office with the flexibility to work partially remote.
The ideal candidate must have 4+ years experience working at a well established design firm with the following technical proficiency in:
AutoCAD
Sketch Up
Photoshop
InDesign
Studio Designer
Word and Excel
Job Requirements:
- Experience producing a design drawing set
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple projects at once
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self starter who can easily take direction and follow through with a task in a timely manner
- Interpersonal skills to attend client meetings, meet with vendors, and GCs
- Project management skills at all phases of the design process
- Ability to write proposals and purchase orders
- Follow-up with vendors and other trade to coordinate all phases of the project
- Sourcing materials at the design center
- A positive attitude and a team player
