Responsibilities
- Teaming
with lead Interior Designers, responsible for determining functional
requirements, providing programming and space planning, facilities
planning and material selections and specifications on projects to
support all elements of interior design.
- Collaborate
with internal team members, other disciplines, consultants, and vendors
to align interior environments with the exterior for a unified and
cohesive design.
- Responsible
for Revit documentation for all interior design related project items
(including millwork, walls, ceilings, floors, etc.). Assist with project
team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material
selections required for construction.
- Prepare presentation materials to communicate concepts during client presentations and project meetings.
- Research materials and concepts to develop an in-depth knowledge of products.
- Assist with implementation, coordination, and installation of interior design concepts on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, interior architecture or interior design required.
- One
year recent and relevant interior design or interior architecture
experience in an architecture or interior architecture firm preferred.
Experience with workplace, corporate interiors, and/or hospitality
design preferred.
- Proficiency
in AutoCAD and SketchUp or Rhino required. Beginner Revit knowledge
required; have at least one year Revit experience in an academic or
professional setting. Understands how Revit works, but may not have
completed a project from start to finish. Has made edits to existing
drawings, models, etc. Intermediate Revit knowledge preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering skills preferred.
- Sustainability accreditation preferred.
