Job Description

Handles the most complex projects of the largest magnitude.  Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.  Prepares strategic plans for project success.  Serves as a primary liaison contact with clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.  Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; budget and schedule; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.  Estimates fees, determine the scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projects.  The Senior Project Manager is a team leader.

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned large scale workplace design and build projects
  • Perform overall quality control of work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Take a lead role in clearly defining and communicating all aspects of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Monitor the compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications
  • Travel regularly to building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Licensure required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in architecture from an accredited program
  • Project Management Certification a plus
  • Experience managing multiple small to large projects
  • Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • General knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is preferred
  • Time management skills
  • Experience with the entire lifecycle of projects
