Molteni&C.-Dada is seeking for a Project Manager for its Contract Division.

The candidate will be working at the Molteni&C.-Dada Madison Avenue location within a team of 10+ people; must be very organized and flexible while working with others.

The candidate should be prepared to work long hours under strict deadlines and cooperate with the team on several projects.

Responsibilities include: managing projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the customer's expectations.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Plan the project

Define the scope of the project in collaboration with the sales force

Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project

Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project including the installation

Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities

Review the project schedule with the upper management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required

Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion

Implement the project

Execute the project according to the project plan including order placement for both merchandise proceeded from the headquarter and other vendors (electrical, task lights, fabric, door hardware for partitions... etc)

Develop forms and records to document project activities

Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured

Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project

Establish a communication schedule to update the upper management including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project

Review of Bulletins and Change of Orders throughout the project development

Follow the Punch-list including replacement order

Collaborate with the site manager in order to have a complete overview of the project

Coordinate with the Commercial Manager to process the payments requisition

Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

Control the project

Write reports on the project for management and communicate with upper management as outlined in funding agreements

Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures

Assist in informing the Commercial manager of the project status in order to complete correctly the payment requisition

Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures including additional expense Submit on a timely matter all change of orders to the general Contractor

Evaluate the project

Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality

Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
