We are looking for a full-time Project Coordinator to join our growing architecture firm. This is position that works to support the management of projects, teams, and budgets. While this position is for an architecture studio, its duties are mostly technical and managerial.  

Relativity Architects is a progressive, diverse, and energetic Architecture, Design and Project Management Studio located in the Arts District of Los Angeles, California. We are a very collaborative practice that values individual contribution and well-rounded experience. The typologies of projects at our firm range from Hotels to Affordable Housing, Production Studios to Tech Campuses, Residences to Restaurants, and Master Plans to Commercial Spaces. Project Coordinators work closely Project Managers, Directors, and Principals. They are responsible for: 

  • Managing Project Documentation 

  • Maintaining Project Calendars and Tasks 

  • Facilitating Communications with Project Teams to ensure complete and accurate documentation and accounting 

  • Liaison between Consultants and vendors 

  • Project Accounting: 

  • Oversight of Project Budget 

  • Invoicing 

  • Creating Schedules 

  • Reviewing billable Hours 

  • Project Close-Out  

  • Research and Development 

  • Coordinate the completion of construction contract documents  

We are looking for a professional with 2-4 years of experience in related fields – Administration, Accounting, Architecture, Construction Management Bookkeeping, Logistics, Civil Service, Etc. The ideal candidate can work both independently and in teams, be resourceful and efficient, and can resolve issues and develop solutions. Required skills for a successful career include:  

  • Strong Mathematical Skills 

  • Highly Organized 

  • Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal) 

  • Attention to Detail 

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Office 365 

  • Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam PDF 

  • Deltek Ajera (preferred, but can be taught to someone with the ability to learn new, accounting-based software quickly) 

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is a bonus but not required 

  • Bachelors or Masters in related field 

Having an ability to adjust to shifting priorities, and jump between tasks and across scales, is important. A general knowledge of the Architecture and Construction industries is desired but not required.
