RACAIA Architecture & Interior Design is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented and ambitious Architectural Designer for our Downtown Los Angeles, CA office.

The ideal candidate for this position is an ambitious, thoughtful creative with a high technological and design savvy. Our Architectural Design position is for those who already have great talent and want to elevate their skills by collaborating with a creative team and contributing to the expansion of an office. This means understanding and appreciating the design and life of a project, as well as an inclination to support our project managers, consultants, and clients with acumen, integrity, and capacity.

This individual would also be thoughtful, honest, exacting, and especially detail-oriented. They would understand the basics of developing construction documents, as well as design quality, constructability and detail completeness. Lastly, RACAIA projects include corporate retail, civic/schools, restaurants/hospitality and healthcare, and so this person would be flexible and considerate of each client’s needs.

Most ideally, you must be comfortable asking questions to learn and grow, and be open to the ongoing process of supporting steady growth for our firm.

Here is a list of Minimum Requirements for this position:

  • Bachelors of Architecture from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3-5 years architectural and construction experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, without exception
  • Possess an understanding of the architectural design and construction process
  • 3D modeling skills and Adobe CS experience 
  • Strong technical skills overall
  • Driven to problem-solve, ask many questions, and keep open communication at all times
  • Must be legally able to work in the United States & local to Los Angeles
