Bestor Architecture is looking for a Mid-Level Designer who is well-rounded, design-focused, and possesses strong technical skills. We are looking for a candidate to work within a team on projects through all phases of the design process from concept design through construction.

Applicants should have the ability to translate design concepts into reality as an integral member of a project team. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated, flexible, and cooperative problem solver with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.


  • In collaboration with the broader team, design and execute multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion, and potentially lead smaller-sized residential and commercial projects
  • Produce presentation drawings, diagrams, and renderings using Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Work closely with the project team, consultants, contractors, and agency officials
  • Assist Senior Designers/Project Managers with project management responsibilities, helping to ensure client satisfaction, service quality, and financial performance
  • Research materials, products, and building systems throughout the design and construction phases, with an understanding of architectural advancements and trends
  • In coordination with consultants, produce a full set of construction/working drawings
  • Participate in client and consultant coordination on larger projects and serve as primary client and consultant contact on smaller projects
  • Ensure fulfillment of all contractual requirements for professional services on smaller projects
  • Experience creating presentation materials
  • Motivated, independent, flexible, and cooperative problem solver with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
  • Provide informal feedback and some direction to Junior Designers and Interns; serve as a mentor, resource, and guide


  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or M.Arch.) from an accredited institution
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in progressive, design-focused firms
  • Experience working on large T.I. projects
  • Licensure candidacy preferred
  • Able to take direction and initiative with minimal supervision
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
