Wendy Haworth Design is looking for an experienced, creative, and organized Interior Designer/Project Manager to join our growing team! Wendy Haworth Design is a high-end residential and commercial interior design firm in the Silverlake neighborhood.

The ideal designer will have 3+ years’ experience working in an interior design/architecture firm and a passion for all things design. Reporting directly to the principal designer, this role is active in all project phases - from concept to installation. Familiarity with project phases/timelines is a must (concept, schematic, design development, construction documentation, procurement, and installation).

Responsibilities include:

·       Working directly with principal designer to complete full scope projects

·       Developing designs and space planning with AutoCad

·       Preparing and revising construction documentation including detail and custom furniture drawings

·       Actively ensuring projects meet necessary targets for on-time completion by managing budgets, purchases, and timelines

·       Designing and managing custom furniture and millwork

·       Sourcing finishes, materials, and FF&E

·       Effectively collaborate with designers, architects, contractors, and artisans

·       Creating and delivering presentations for client meetings

·       Representing the firm in stakeholder meetings

·       Writing specifications

·       Preparing and maintaining FF&E and finish schedules

·       Maintaining project files and documentation

·       Managing junior designers

·       Occasional administrative tasks, as needed


·       High proficiency in AutoCAD & Adobe CS required

·       Ability to read and understand construction documents and furniture shop drawings

·       Experience in sourcing FF&E; knowledge of Los Angeles showrooms a plus

·       Highly organized with an eye for detail

·       A positive, team minded attitude

·       Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously

·       Ability to problem solve and adapt to unexpected challenges

·       Excellent verbal and written communication

·       Professionalism with clients, vendors and office staff


·       Proficient in SketchUp and/or other 3D programs a plus

·       Studio Designer knowledge a plus

·       Must have a car and valid driver's license
