Altieri Sebor Wieber LLC (Altieri), a Norwalk, CT-based consulting engineering firm with a 60-year reputation for leadership in architectural engineering design, seeks an energetic, creative self-starter to join our team in a highly collaborative work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assist our Marketing Director with:
    • Proposal submissions, including:
      1. Keeping proposal elements (project sheets, staff resumes, etc.) updated and organized in Marketing library.
      2. Organizing photographs and obtaining images for key projects, when needed.
      3. Assisting in proposal preparation.
      4. Setting up new proposal folders, tracking deadlines and proposal responses.
    • Coordinating social media activity, including monitoring feeds and recommending content (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other)
    • Updating client list, including Master List and Constant Contact database
    • Updating website, as needed
    • Providing miscellaneous support with various projects, as needed
  2. Assist our Office Coordinator with:
    • Coordinating logging of and responses to RFIs and shop drawings
    • Formatting specifications and coordinating submissions at project milestones
    • Organizing holiday books/cards program
    • Tracking firm and individual industry association memberships
    • Answering office phones
    • Providing miscellaneous support with various projects, as needed.
  3. Support the Principals, as needed 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be a self-starter. Take initiative and ownership of job responsibilities.
  • Be detail-oriented and extremely organized.
  • Be able to respond to short-term deadlines while maintaining progress on longer-term projects.
  • Be able to juggle multiple tasks on a daily basis, maintaining accuracy of work within tight and changing deadlines.
  • Be accountable for one’s work, be able to accept critique and guidance, and be able to ask questions when needed. Exhibit good judgement.
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to effectively represent firm when answering phones/making calls, communicating with clients and suppliers.
  • Have experience with social media platforms, ideally beyond individual use.
  • Have proven creative graphics skills.
  • Make positive contributions to collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic Photoshop are essential. Experience using WordPress and Constant Contact are a plus.
