Job Description/ Responsibilities:  Office Manager

  • Manage office wide IT issues, coordinating with the IT consultant.
  • Manage City, State & Federal requirements affecting offices of our size and update HR manual.
  • Manage the office administrative assistant.
  • HR help with on Boarding, Employee exit and managing employees’ enrolments in benefits.
  • Individual must be self-motivated, team player, professional, attentive to detail, reliable and punctual, and enjoy a creative work environment.
  • Manage City, State & Federal requirements affecting offices of our size and update HR manual.
  • Assist the Director of Financial and Operations, principals, senior staff and architects with various tasks.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies, and ensuring that the office runs smoothly.
  • Respond to facility-related issues.  Supervise and hire all office maintenance companies and consultants.
  • Organize meals for meetings, luncheons, or other special events with administrative assistant support.

Required Experience:

  • College degree in Administration or related subject.
  • Previous experience in HR for at least three years.
  • Proven management capability.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and printing equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, and prioritize effectively and efficiently.
  • Great attention to detail and problem solving skills; an eye for improving functionality.
  • Has a CA driver license with no history of accidents for at least 3 years
  • Over the age of 25 (for auto insurance requirements)
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently (Filing boxes, computers etc.)

Salary commensurate upon experience.  References upon request.
