We are seeking a hardworking and talented full-time Technical Designer to join our growing team. Technical Designer

Responsibilities shall include: Manage multiple aspects of project coordination, and general contractors including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, and IT consultants. Candidate will:

  • Demonstrate strong Revit experience with AutoCAD proficiency
  • Actively communicate and manage contractor relationships as well as in-house project communication
  • Resolve a variety of technical and building design issues
  • Be proficient in using web based project management software (e.g. Procore and PlanGrid)
  • Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
  • Interface with building expeditors during the permitting and construction phases of the project

Qualifications shall include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 5 years of relevant experience as a technical designer with strong backgrounds in core and shell building and renovation design as well as interior architecture. 
  • Experience in project coordination, including coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, and IT consultants
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Microsoft Project, and other pertinent project management software
  • Ability to create construction documents that succinctly, thoroughly and accurately describe the work to be constructed
  • Strong organizational, communication and relationship management skills that lead to the success of a project from the design phase through the construction phase.
