CHROMA is a San Francisco based, boutique residential interior design studio led by Alexis Tompkins and Leann Conquer. The studio focuses on artful, luxury homes. Each project is designed in dynamic dialogue with the architecture, pulled through a conceptual lens of art, fashion, and contemporary culture executed pristinely with a compelling mixture of vintage, contemporary and custom furnishings. Each project is passion driven and entirely unique.
POSITION
CHROMA is looking for a driven and passionate Senior Interior Designer with 10-15+ years in luxury, residential design to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative visionary, a motivated self starter with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast paced, creative environment. He/She will be a core member of an emerging design studio, new on the scene, positioned to grow, creating artful, cutting-edge environments that push the boundaries of residential design.
The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for overseeing all phases of projects from initial project setup to concept development to installation and continued support. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of Interior Architecture & FF&E design processes from construction document set development to space planning, furniture sourcing, and custom furniture design and fabrication. The Senior Interior Designer will act as a project manager, overseeing a design team and is responsible for delegating work and tasks accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS
10-15+ years of experience in the industry and an interior design and/or architecture degree from an accredited university.
Knowledge of design and art history. CHROMA’s work is research and concept driven. We are seeking a Senior Designer with a strong knowledge of design history, with an eye for detail and passion for interpretation.
Technical skills list including excellent hand sketching and rendering ability, knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation, high proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite, Studio Designer, and
Management experience, proficiency and passion including construction administration, project management, people management, training capabilities, vendor relationship management and client relationship management.
Seeking masterful communication and interpersonal skills, day to day leadership enthusiasm, the experience and the desire to adapt to the daily needs of full project teams.
