The Office of Court Facilities Planning provides a wide range of services related to the management & operation of over 300 court facilities throughout the state. The Office, located in NYC, is responsible for in-house planning, programing and schematic design of new facilities, additions and modification, reviewing plans and designs of the work of outside consultants for new construction, major renovations and major additions to court facilities throughout NYC, Long Island and all of New York State.  Some travel within New York State is required.

Job requirements:

  • Working knowledge of applicable building codes and ADA Guidelines.
  • Experience with ULURP and SHPO would be helpful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and sketching abilities are essential.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from an accredited college or university in Architecture, and a minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
  • A valid New York State Registration as an Architect is required. Proficiency with AutoCAD is required. 
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.

Salary:  

$79,806 - $93,733 Annually + $4,100 Location Pay
