The Architectural Designer/The Industrial Designer works directly with our founder and creative director to develop and execute new products. In addition to large scale chandeliers we also do small scale lighting, and furniture design. The successful candidate will also help with showroom design, material research and testing, model making, and temporary installation design.

Candidate must have expert-level skills in Rhino (modeling but not so much rendering ) with the ability to integrate our objects into the architectural plans of our clients. Ability to generate 3D models from 2D plans is necessary. Ability to create various shapes and volumes is required. Fluency in AutoCad is required. The programs Fusion 360, Solidworks, X-cell, and the full adobe suite will also be used.

We are seeking  an out of the box thinker who works well collaboratively, does not need constant oversight, pivots easily, and can come up with solutions rather than wait for direction.

This is not a traditional design office- we are a design studio and work-shop- we need a motivated & dedicated designer who likes to get their hands dirty sometimes. Our process goes back and forth from model making to drawing and we need you to be fluent in both. You will gain valuable design-build experience learning from our principal who has over 20 years experience in high-end design and fabrication. We work with high-end architect and interior designers and you will interface with them on a regular basis.

We combine both old-school craft and digital technology- fluency in both is necessary.

We like to push the boundaries of materials so be inventive and excited about new things. A passion for modern and contemporary lighting, furniture design, and art is a must. Must love small dogs, and like to listen to music or NPR at work.

Part, or full time, flexible hours are an option.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
