James Corner Field Operations seeks an articulate and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant for our New York office. We are a leading-edge landscape architecture and urban design practice based in New York City with a high-energy and collaborative studio environment.

This position involves close coordination with our Director of Marketing and Business Development as well as the office Principals and Admin staff. Responsibilities include assisting with business development proposals and RFP/RFQ submissions, managing our internal marketing library, updating our website and social media accounts, assisting with internal and external communications, and preparing awards submissions.

The ideal candidate has:

  • excellent writing skills and a professional approach to emails;
  • strong organization and time management habits;
  • a friendly demeanor and strong collaborative skills;
  • an eye for details, an efficient working process, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines; and
  • the ability to work independently when needed and set internal/personal deadlines in working toward a larger goal. 

Experience in an architecture firm is not necessary, but the ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest in design and landscape architecture, as well as a good eye for graphic design.


  • strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • excellent English language skills; additional languages are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, urban design, graphic design, planning, communications, or equivalent is strongly recommended
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a graphics, marketing, or architecture-related position
