Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work together with senior design and technical staff to advance both the design and technical aspects of projects at all phases of design
  • Provide planning and building code research for individual projects
  • Oversee the work of junior staff in design and document production
  • Provide leadership in coordination with other engineers and consultants

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in architecture
  • A professional degree in architecture or interior design
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the California Building Code, International Building Code, and ADA Standards for Accessible Design
  • Professional Licensure as an Architect
  • LEED AP or demonstrated progress towards accreditation.
  • Ability to contribute as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary project team on both design and construction documentation.  Experience working on complex commercial projects is a preferred.
  • Strong verbal, graphic and design skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and outgoing
  • Legal authorization to work in the US with fluent English skills
  • Advanced skill level in Revit is a must with “Autodesk Certified Professional for Revit” credential mandatory.  Experience in AutoCAD and presentation graphics software such as Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite is also preferred.
