ISO Ideas, Inc. is a growing design agency based in San Francisco, USA. We believe that architecture should radiate the warmth of tactility and spatial quality. While buildings nowadays are no longer crafted but assembled, we are devoted to bringing back humanistic care and natural tectonics to all of our projects, ranging from single family to multi-family projects,  to creative interiors including restaurants and offices. 

We are looking for a well rounded architect with 8-15 years of experience to join the core of our team to lead current projects in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate should be a licensed architect in CA, familiar with the permitting process in SF and experienced in execution phases (DD, CD, CA)  in residential and commercial tenant improvement projects. 

  • Minimum of 8-15 years’ experience with specific knowledge of the Construction Document process.
  • Professional degree in architecture. Master’s degree desirable.
  • Architecture License in California
  • Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills 
  • Restaurant & Residential Experience (single family & multi family)
  • Experience working with city agencies.
  • Experience in construction administration and practical knowledge of building codes.
  • Experience coordinating consultants and managing a design team, 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit is required.
  • 3D rendering proficiency in Rhino is desired but not mandatory.
  • Adobe Creative Suite is desired but not mandatory.
  • Candidates must have current valid work status in the US.
  •  Be able to start soon.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and project management expertise 
  • Assure the project design is fully developed and complete for the entire project
  • Produce well organized drawings while supervising other production. 
  • Oversee design schedule to insure design decisions and      documentation are complete at critical milestones.
  • Communicate work details in every step of construction, including detailed documentation phases and extensive materials knowledge.
  • Work closely with the team and consultants to preserve design intent through DD, CD, CA.
  • Visit construction sites to gather information, answer contractor      questions and prepare punch list as required.
  • Lead/coordinate communication efforts with client, consultants and   within project team.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and schedules.
