Electric Bowery, a boutique architecture and design firm based in Venice, is seeking an entry-level Administrative / Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, motivated and responsible, has a positive attitude and a high level of energy, and an interest in pursuing design professionally.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Maintain Principals' calendars, including scheduling meetings
  • Ensure that Principals are prepared for meetings and appointments
  • Attend meetings and take meeting minutes
  • Assist with promotional outreach
  • Update studio website and social media presence (Instagram and other platforms) under supervision of senior-level designers
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio environment
  • Organize and execute special projects and/or events as needed
  • Answer phones and greet clients & visitors
  • Maintain inventory of office and pantry supplies
  • Track & coordinate deliveries
  • Act as point of contact for building maintenance, landlord, IT, etc.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Adobe Photoshop and InDesign are a plus but not required
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in architecture & interior design
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own form of transportation for office-related trips as necessary
  • Must be fluent in English; ability to speak Spanish a plus but not required
